Album Review- Waka Flocka Flame- Triple F Life: Friends, Family, and Fans

So I'm not a fan of Waka Flocka, cause he can't rap and just exacerbates every thing wrong in hip-hop, talking about killing with no remorse, getting people amped up and not having any lyrics. He is all about getting people rowdy and there is a market for this type of noise. So I'm giving this a try because at least he can admit he isn't nice and sort of knows his place in the game.

Album Review-Young Jeezy- TM103 Hustlerz Ambition

So one of the most highly anticipated albums of 2011 has to be Young Jeezy and the return of his Thug Motivation with TM103. pushed back a couple of times, Jeezy may not have had the outward buzz that Defjam was looking for, but the streets have still been clamoring to see what the Snowman brings in his return. Here is my album review of Young Jeezy TM103: Hustlerz Ambition.

Yankin?

I should not be publicizing this nonsense but I saw this and wonder what is wrong with females in hip-hop. We have shit like this ( i know it says Big Gates artist-meaning something to do with Plies and his brother).

This chick says her pussy is "yankin" which sounds like something that you do not want a pussy to be in my opinion. We need to stick to good, or wet because yankin sounds like I'm

Album Review- Nelly- 5.0

Now I knew Nelly had a new single out, then another, but I was truly hoping he didn't do another album. I mean He's good for a single here and there, but his albums haven't been anything to write home about save for those singles. Let me tell you, this album has some subtle hilarity to it.

Nelly's first single is "Just a Dream" and it's a typical crossover hit with Nelly's sing-song flow and his

Album Review- Plies- Goon Affiliated

Plies is one of those love em or hate em guys and you probably can tell where I stand on the subject. Honestly, his success has surprised the hell out of me but in today's industry, charisma counts more than actual lyrical ability or song-writing. Plies has been able to get the interest of the female section of the population by flashing money and walking around with his shirt off.

So Plies

Speaking on the new trends- Ras Kass has a point

Take a listen at the above while you start to read this preface to the meat of the post. The funniest part about this is that he is pretty much right when he is talking about the role reversals in urban music now and how things have switched up over the past 10-12 years.

To surmise he is saying that women have become empowered to be more like men in their mentality while singers have adapted

Has R and B become a one trick Pony?

Now I was feeling nostalgiac and listening to probably the greatest and most pure voice in r and b ever, the one and only Luther Vandross. Now it wasn't just the voice that got me, it was his style and flair. We all know the rumors about Luther being gay but the moment he opened his mouth and started singing, you no longer cared anything about that, you just knew that something great was

Sort of album review

So I been slacking I know. I really didn't find much inspiring to talk about for the past week or so and I didn't feel like writing but I'm back now with three sort of album reviews because in my opinion, none of the three albums that came out last week truly merit a full review of their own.I'll start off with Willy northpole who is one of the most overlooked "new" gangsta rapper types to come

Hip-hop Love songs

What's love got to do with it? Love has got a lot to do with it. In the hip-hop community, there aren't a plethora of songs that showcase the love between a man and a woman on mature terms. I have to include the term mature because most of the recent songs about male and female relations are ghettofied and very immature at the core. The genre basically started with the classic, "I need Love" by
